๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Building Homes for Nature: Pupils Team Up with Breedon

On Thursday 22nd May, our Primary and Junior classes enjoyed a fantastic hands-on experience as they took part in a special project with local company Breedon.

Staff from Breedon visited Dawn House School to lead a practical and engaging session where pupils had the opportunity to build and decorate their very own bird boxes. With plenty of creativity, teamwork, and smiles, our young learners embraced the challenge โ€” producing some beautifully decorated homes for our feathered friends.

These bird boxes will soon be placed around the school grounds by our site team, helping to create a more wildlife-friendly environment and giving pupils a lasting reminder of their contribution to nature.

A huge thank you to Breedon and their amazing staff for making this opportunity possible. The session not only supported learning and fine motor skills but also helped foster a strong sense of environmental responsibility and pride.
