Motor Vehicle Maintenance Visit Coventry Transport Museum

Inspiring the Mechanics of Tomorrow!

Motor Vehicle Maintenance Visit Coventry Transport Museum

Yesterday, our Motor Vehicle Maintenance students had the fantastic opportunity to step back in time and experience the evolution of transport first-hand during a visit to the Coventry Transport Museum. Accompanied by Mr Hutsby, the group explored an incredible collection of vehicles that chart the story of British innovation and engineering excellence.

From early bicycles to the fastest cars on Earth, the museum offered pupils a unique insight into the progression of vehicle design and mechanical technology. Highlights included the ThrustSSC and Thrust2 – the world land speed record-holders – and interactive displays that gave students a hands-on understanding of how vehicles have changed over time.

The visit linked perfectly with the group’s ongoing work in motor vehicle systems, giving them not only a sense of history but also an inspiring look at where the industry could take them in the future.
