Yesterday, the Makaton Choir made their mark at a vibrant music event hosted by Joseph Whitaker School — and they certainly did not disappoint! With eight schools coming together for a joyful celebration of music, the day was packed with energy, enthusiasm, and a shared love for singing and signing.

Our pupils stood out for their impeccable behaviour and incredible performances, showcasing not only their musical talents but also their commitment to inclusion through Makaton signing. Performing a selection of classic ’90s hits, the children brought every song to life with expressive movement and beautiful harmonies.
