The final Principal’s message of the year!

https://www.dawnhouseschool.org.uk/

Please do have a look at the website to see what we’ve all been up to this year! Our celebration assembly this half term was a lovely round up of the year- especially celebrating Jayden and Zane as Lower School and Upper School winners of this years Principals award. Such an honour to present them to these two for such a great year. Do have a look at our Facebook page!

Over the holidays our premises team will be here and busy! New conservatory roofs, DT refurbishment, decorating, flooring, new garage doors….it’s all going on!!

The school office will be manned most days during the break, should you need any information about our return.

A few updates and reminders:

  • School dinners will be going up in September to £3.25
  • Please keep taxis informed if there are changes to your child’s transport to and from school
  • Uniform can be ordered through Weduc or the DHS website ( update attached)
  • ‘The Dawn House way’ expectations document is also attached along with our term dates and key dates for next year.
  • Our summer fair raised over £1,000this year!
  • Also a reminder about online safetyand the importance of supervising your child’s interactions on line. Each holiday there are some things that we end up having to follow up in school on children’s return! We will invite parents in to help resolve any out of school issues, so please be vigilant.

We have not published OFSTED report yet but we can still celebrate our successful year; we don’t need a report to tell us how good we are!!!! (But of course I’ll be delighted to share in once we receive it!) A big thank you to you all for your ongoing support and we look forward to seeing your children in September. Wednesday 3rd September is their first day back!

Huge thanks to you all and have a great holiday!

Jenny 😊

If your child leaves home in the morning a little unsettled and you want to quickly tell us, so we know to expect a tricky start to the day, a quick email (that we can follow up later) to the tutor and/or core team with ‘Handle with Care’ in the email title will ensure that we are aware.
