Visit to Alton Towers

Our recent school trip to Alton Towers was a fantastic success.

The children had an amazing time and their behaviour throughout the day was outstanding, truly a credit to Dawn House. We enjoyed a thrilling selection of rides, including Galactica, The Smiler, Oblivion, Nemesis, Toxicator, Hex – The Legend of the Towers, and Wicker Man, we even had time to go on some of them twice! It was wonderful to see personal challenges being overcome; one pupil discovered a love for rollercoasters after going upside down for the first time.

The day was filled with excitement, laughter, and memorable achievements for everyone involved. Oh, and we did a bit of Science research for our new project “Make a rollercoaster faster”!
