End of year show July 19th 2024
The end of year show is a celebration of the years performing arts work which this year will include Dance, MAKATON and music. It is an open air show out on the school field and many of the musical performers have contributed to the SPIDER Productions CD which will be on sale by the side of the stage.
Show starts at 10.45 and will finish at 11.50 Parents are welcome to attend for the show but we ask that children do not leave with parents and stay to enjoy their afternoons enrichment session.
Youth One day Mental Health First Aid England Online Course at Dawn House School May 2024
At Dawn House School we are continuing to develop our skills in recognising and supporting our community with their Mental health and wellbeing.
We are fortunate to have access to training in Mental Health First Aid England for Adults and Youth on site/online with a member of staff being a trainer.
MHFA England is a social enterprise, a company without shareholders. It offers expert guidance and training to support mental health.
Mental Health First Aid England aim for 1 in 10 people to have an awareness of Mental Health and how we can support someone experiencing mental health difficulties.
We are able to offer the one-day Youth Mental Health First Aid England course at Dawn House School. This will run over tow sessions on separate days:
- Thursday 2nd May - 9.30am to 2.30pm.
- Friday 3rd May - 9am to 2pm
This course is suitable for anyone working with/caring for young people from the ages 8 to 18years
We are able to offer the course at a reduced cost of £125 per delegate, this includes a manual and workbook for each delegate.
