Deputy Principal’s Message to Parents – 8th October 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

Just a short message today.

Today we have had our Hellow Yellow day in school. It has been great to see so many people wearing yellow and supporting the activities. Pupils had the opportunity to reflect on the day and mental health whilst having fun with different activities in school such as a photo booth and cake sale.  We will let you know our final total raised next week.

There is a photo of Mrs Horton and Bella attached - in our photo booth- more photos will be up on the website early next week.

Today we have also held the Mental Health First Aid training and will also be running another session tomorrow with Kathy Horton.

Earlier this week some of our KS3 and 4 pupils went to Colwick Park to take part in a multi schools cross country competition.  All pupils behaved impeccably and were outstanding representatives of the school.  They handled the not so sunny weather well and the girl's team came third and won bronze medals.

Next Friday we have a new parents meeting from 12.30pm, further details to follow.

Take care

Kelly Fedun

Deputy Principal
